What do you teach at FlowFabrik?

I’ll teach Soft Yoga & Yoga Nidra

What language do you teach in?

Swiss german / German/ English

In short: Who are you?

I am enthusiastic and positive, open-minded person. I love being a mom to my 3 kids (11,14,16) and am happy to have chosen one of my hobbies as a profession. I have a master in piano performance and pedagogy. I love music and I love movement. I‘ve always been moving since I was a little girl, I grew up poly-sportive and enjoyed different sports.

I like being in nature, move and feel free.

Why did you become a teacher?

I completed my first 200h-YTT in 2019 with Green Yoga International in Spain after being practicing yoga for some years. I‘m a Katonah Yoga student and I have learned and practiced with Aylin Karadayi, Abbie Galvin, Nevine Michaan, Dages J.Keates a.o.

During Lockdown in 2020 I enriched my practice with 20h Funtional Movement Training: Redifining Mobility with Matt Phippen, CA and

15h Meditation Training with Ally Bogard, NY

After discovering the LYT Yoga method by Lara Heimann in early 2020 I embarked on the second round of ONLINE Yoga Teacher Training and got my Certification for 200h in LYT method in September 2020.

What can people who attend your class look forward to?

I‘m a teacher for over 20 years, I put my heart and soul into it (asides Yoga I teach also the piano) I love to be in contact with different people and share my love for movement and yoga with them-

what I love about teaching, is that it helped me over the years to develop self-acceptance and contentment and gives me courage to live and express my true self.

What does movement mean for you?

I‘m a movement lover, aside Yoga I love running, hiking, skiing, swimming, playing soccer, dancing..It‘s a big and important part of my life and helps me stay balanced and focused.

I’m a firm believer that movement is medicine.

Complete this sentence:  When I want to feel my absolutely best, I make sure to….

... start moving. Then I know I will feel better soon. Sometimes I also have a walk into nature and will find a nice place to sit there in silence, meditate and make connection to my inner world.

Do you have a quote which suits to you which you want to share?

I encourage my students to listen to their bodies while staying curious and open-minded. I aim to teach from a sustainable vantage point, using my knowledge to help all practice yoga safely. Expect my classes to be strong, fluid and playfully sequenced. I’ll be integrating anatomy, functional movement and strength exercices, while focusing on alignment. It’s for everybody who wants to improve core strength, flexibility and over all balance, but also to find inner peace and just feel better in their bodies and mind.

The LYT yoga practice can help override poor posture habits and encourages to find smarter movement patterns. I’m really excited to share this beautiful practice with you!
