It’s easy to believe that happiness will come when things finally fall into place — the right partner, the right job, more recognition, a calmer life. We tell ourselves: then I’ll feel at peace.

But peace doesn’t work like that. It doesn’t arrive when everything outside of us changes. It begins when we turn inward.

That’s where yoga comes in.
 

Yoga offers a way to understand yourself more deeply. Through breath, movement, meditation, and reflection, you learn to steady your mind and reconnect with what’s already there — clarity, presence, and a sense of inner calm.

This 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified training is an invitation into that process.
Not to become someone else, but to meet yourself honestly. To soften where you’re holding on too tightly. To build strength where you need it. To reconnect with a quieter, freer part of yourself.
 

Many people come to yoga for the physical practice — strength, flexibility, movement. But over time, something shifts.

You may notice a desire to feel less reactive. More grounded. Less driven by old patterns, and more able to choose how you respond to life. This training is for anyone who feels that pull.
 

Whether you want to teach yoga or simply understand yourself more deeply, you’ll be supported exactly where you are.

We’ll explore asana, alignment, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy. You’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to teach if that’s your path.


Two key aspects of this training are tapas — discipline (not the harsh kind - but the devoted loving kind of discipline) — and svadhyaya — honest self-reflection.

Growth isn’t always easy. Sometimes it asks you to face parts of yourself you’d rather avoid. But when you do, something begins to shift. 

A other important part of this training is learning to hold space. As a teacher, that means creating a safe, grounded environment where others can explore without pressure or judgment. It asks for presence, humility, and self-awareness.

And even if you don’t want to teach, this matters. Holding space in your own life means staying present in difficult moments. Listening deeply. Responding instead of reacting. Meeting yourself with patience instead of criticism.

This training supports you in becoming that kind of presence — for yourself first, and then for others.

What to expect

During the training, we explore the following topics in depth:
 

Philosophy

  • The history and roots of yoga: understanding its purpose and evolution.

  • The Eight Limbs: ethical principles and practices for growth and freedom.

  • Applying the Yoga Sutras in daily life: integrating mindfulness, self-study, and awareness.

  • The kleshas: the five root afflictions/challenges that color our perception and thereby our life, and how yoga reduces their influence.

  • Yoga psychology: understanding thought patterns, emotions, and habits to cultivate clarity and inner freedom.
     

Asana & Alignment 

  • Explore foundational Hatha yoga postures in focused asana labs

  • Learn safe, functional alignment — for your own practice and for teaching

  • Develop clear verbal cues and thoughtful hands-on adjustments

  • Build strength, stability, and awareness through consistent practice

  • Good to know: This training is build on the practice of Hatha Yoga, which is a physical practice that at times will lovingly challenge you — in a steady, supportive way. Not extreme or overwhelming, but strong enough to help you grow, build resilience, and feel your body more clearly.

  • Physiology and function of the breath

  • Pranayama: yogic breathing techniques

  • Subtle anatomy: prana, nadis, vayus, chakras etc.
     

Meditation & Mantra

  • Meditation techniques for focus, awareness, and stillness

  • Introduction to mantra and the power of chanting

  • Anatomy and physiology of the body in motion

  • How the body supports and responds to yoga practice
     

The Art of Teaching

  • Finding and developing your voice as a teacher

  • How to guide safe, supportive, and transformative classes

  • Teaching as a path of service and self-growth

  • How to build a life and business as a yoga teacher

No, you don’t need to be an yoga-expert to sign up for this training


...and you certainly don’t have to master every advanced pose.
This training is designed to meet you where you are and support your growth every step of the way.
You need at least one year of continuous yoga experience and must be willing to fully commit to the work of this training.

This Yoga Teacher Training is led by a committed and experienced team of educators. With Hanne Mogensen at the core, supported by a group of knowledgeable guest teachers, the program provides a strong, diverse foundation for both aspiring yoga teachers and deepening practitioners.

Language & Structure

 

The training is primarily conducted in English, with select guest sessions occasionally held in German. However, all core topics and lectures will be delivered in English.

Hanne will lead over 70% of the program to ensure consistency and cohesion, while guest teachers bring their unique expertise—providing trainees with a rich, diverse, and dynamic learning experience.

Our program combines the best of both worlds: immersive in-person weekends and flexible online study. This blended approach allows you to fully experience the depth of yoga teaching and practice while giving you the freedom to learn at your own pace between sessions. The in-person weekends foster community, hands-on learning, and direct guidance, while the online content supports your ongoing growth and reflection — making your training rich, balanced, and sustainable.

  • September 18th - 20th 2026

Times:

  • Fridays: 14:00–19:00 including breaks 

  • Saturdays: 08:00–17:00 including breaks

  • Sundays: 08:00–17:00 including breaks

Online Study:

  • About 4 hours per month, accessible on-demand through a digital library

  • Includes lectures, guided practices, self-paced study, homework assignments, and reflective exercises

  • The online study content will be released progressively to support and deepen your learning from the previous in-person weekend and prepare you for the upcoming one. This ensures a seamless connection between the live sessions and your independent study, helping you integrate and apply what you learn throughout the training.

  • Online learning: 28 hours

  • Internship, report writing, exams, and tests: Additional hours

Investment:

  • Early Bird: 3,999 CHF when you sign up before July 1st 2026

  • Regular Price: 4,299 CHF from July 1st 2026
     

Registration & Commitment Fee:
To secure your spot in the training, a non-refundable commitment fee of 500 CHF is required upon registration.
This fee will be deducted from the total course fee.
 

Payment Plan:
You may pay the remaining balance in up to three installments. However, at least two-thirds of the total course fee must be paid before the training begins, unless an alternative agreement has been made in advance.


Included in this price:

  • 5 complimentary yoga classes free of choice at FlowFabrik.

  • A comprehensive training manual
     

Not included:

  • Textbooks and other teaching materials

Number of Participants

The training requires a minimum of 5 participants to proceed and can accommodate up to a maximum of 12 participants.

​Absence & Make-Up Policy


We understand that unexpected situations such as illness, emergencies, or personal commitments may occasionally prevent you from attending scheduled training sessions. To support your successful completion of the program, please note the following guidelines:
 

  • Notification:
    Please inform us as soon as possible if you anticipate missing any training days, so we can provide necessary guidance and support.
     

  • Make-Up Options:
    Whenever possible, recordings of in-person sessions will be made available through our online library. We encourage you to review these materials promptly to stay on track.
     

  • Attendance Requirement:
    To maintain program integrity and fulfill certification criteria, participants are required to attend at least 90% of the scheduled in-person hours. If you miss more than 10% of the training, additional make-up sessions or assignments may be necessary.
     

  • Additional Make-Up Sessions:
    If extra in-person make-up sessions are required, these may incur an additional fee. The cost will depend on the scope and format of the make-up and will be communicated in advance.
     

  • Extended Absences:
    In cases of prolonged illness or unavoidable absence, we will work with you to develop an individualized plan. This may include private coaching, additional online study, or participation in future training dates.
     

  • Completion Timeline:
    All required hours must be completed within 24 months (two years) of the program start date to qualify for certification.
     

Our goal is to support you fully in your training journey while maintaining the high standards of our program and the International Yoga Alliance.

Cancellation Policy

Cancallation by Participant: Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. The following refund schedule applies:

  • More than 60 days before the start date: Full refund minus the non-refundable commitment fee (500 CHF).

  • 59 days or less before the start date: No refund.

Cancallation by Us:

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the training (e.g., due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances), all payments made will be fully refunded.
 

Insurance & Liability

  • Cancellation Insurance

We recommend that you obtain cancellation insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen events that may prevent your participation in the training.
 

  • Health & Accident Insurance

It is your responsibility to have appropriate health and accident insurance coverage during the training. This ensures you are protected in case of illness, injury, or any medical emergency that might occur while attending.
 

  • Liability

Participants are responsible for their own belongings and equipment. The training venue and organizers do not accept liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Please keep your belongings secure, especially in unattended cloakrooms.

Participants are also liable for any negligent or intentional damage they may cause to the venue’s property or furnishings.
 

  • Personal Responsibility

The physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of each participant is their own responsibility. By registering for this training, you agree to take care of your own health and safety throughout the course.
